the six month point

i can't believe our daughter will be six months old next saturday.

this is such a remarkable age. so much laughing, smiling and (not that i mind) joyful shrieking. lucky for us, there's little crying and plenty of sleep.

i really do think she is the cutest baby. EVER.

just saw volver. if ever you pined for a combination of hitchcockian and queer aesthetics (like i surely have) almodovar is your answer. how he makes frivolity and melodrama so beautiful and real, i'll never know. and cheers to penelope. the oscar buzz started months ago ...
