the worst crime: to be boring
poor, poor robert. it's as if his heart wasn't in it anymore. i enjoyed him on the show (yes, project runway) but geeeez, enough already. his outfit resembled j.c. penney circa 1980. something liz taylor wore in her more zaftig days. maybe he wanted to be auf'd!
i truly don't understand why vincent won. his dress was like a student's first assignment - just like all his outfits. and angela ... ugh. she looked as if she was still working on the first challenge (making clothes from lampshades and drapes ...)
i'm still a big fan of michael's and uli's. i've enjoyed her expertise with patterns from the beginning ... and she's kind of adorable. i thought uli should have won. and kayne is really starting to annoy. that tight, evil smile on the runway? scary.
So - my leave from work has started again and, this week, it overlaps with calvin's last week before school starts. We actually saw a movie yesterday. "The Illusionist". Pretty good flick. Old-fashioned and a touch cheesy here and there but I liked it. We got a great babysitter for the afternoon.
Baby girl is doing fantastically well. Probably 15 lbs. by now and turns 3 months old tomorrow! She is very focused on everyone's faces, smiles alot and holds her neck up very strongly, always turning around to see what's about. very curious gal. and amazing how much she sleeps. she still clocks in about 10 hours each night. roughly 10pm to 8am. then she'll take about 3 naps a day. about 1 to 2 hours each, sometimes more ... got to love that.
