red tape drama

lots going on back home in AZ. mom was released from the lifecare facility and returned home - by herself - for two days. as can be expected, that didn't go well. now, she's back at the hospital and soon to be back at lifecare. the poor woman, mostly because of bureaucratic red tape, is being shuffled around like an ellis island immigrant. but, luckily, she is doing much better, health-wise.

we hired a nanny. she's vivacious and wonderful and i can only hope she stays with us for a very long time, and that it all works out. we interviewed about six or so women and the entire process was pretty surreal.
