early morning feeding ...

still addicited to the new Keane and just over the moon with the new season of Project Runway. what better way to get our minds off of the horrible war(s) in the middle east! oy.

as for PR, i was kind of sad to see Malan go because he makes great, bizarre TV. very cartoonish guy. but tim gunn was being so kind when he said it looked like his dress was carved from a tree. i thought it looked like it was made from poo.

speaking of poo, baby girl is eight weeks old and doing great. still screaming every now and then. who knows why. maybe just cause she's a baby. she's starting to sleep through the night, mostly. i've learned that "through the night" means about six hours in baby/pediatician/new parent speak. not like the old days (well, 8 1/2 weeks ago) when i'd get a good 8 or 9 hours every night or so ...

mom's health is improving greatly. she's such a survivor!

we went to a picnic last weekend in vermont, hosted by our adoption agency. it was fantastic. met a lot of other families - so many adorable children. ours was one of the youngest. it was jarring to be in the country (we don't get out of the city much). so many incredible stars in the night sky. and so many bugs. i'm thrilled we got some relaxing/porch/picnic/swing time because, honestly, summer seems to be escaping me.
