fingers crossed

everything is still looking very good. i can't believe how fast this is happening, but we're nothing but thrilled. hoping to talk to our wonderful birthmom again tonight.

started listening to david sedaris on my ipod (nothing beats his imitation of billie holiday singing the oscar meyer jingle) while cleaning house and while commuting to and from work. this has helped me relax and, of course, laugh. maybe i can try this during midnight feedings. i'm assuming i won't be able to flick on the tv and catch up on my seconds from disaster, the sopranos and the daily show at 3am. unless i intend on waking up calvin ... and getting my future daughter addicted to raunchy and/or macabre tv shows.

i'll try it out and see how it goes.
